Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child

Objective:

• To support and empower single girl children from economically weaker families to pursue higher education.This scholarship aims to promote girls' education and support single girl children from economically weaker families to achieve their academic goals.

Eligibility:

1. Girl students who are the only child of their parents.
2. Pursuing a non-professional course (e.g., arts, humanities, social sciences).
3. Studying in a recognized university or college.
4. Family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000 per annum.

Benefits

1. Rs.10, 000 per month for 2 years.
2. Rs.20, 000 per annum for 2 years (for students living away from home)

Duration: 2 years
