Health Home
Students Health Home (SHH) traces its roots back to the country's freedom struggle, embodying a rich heritage of Bengal. Established in 1952, SHH was founded with the spirit of a self-help movement by the entire student community, aiming to support ailing students.
You can now experience the story of SHH in the full-length feature film KINTU GALPO NOY, which was released in June 2018. The film, featuring renowned actors like Ashoke Mukhopadhyay, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Paran Bandopadhyay, Debshankar Halder, Meghnad Bhattacharya, Badsha Moitra, and Papiya Adhikari, was made available on various digital platforms after being acquired by EROS. These artists participated in the project on an honorary basis.
Over its 70-year journey, SHH has provided care to countless ailing students, including those suffering from cancer, severe injuries, or life-threatening infections. While not every patient could be saved, the majority recovered, and those who couldn't were given the best possible support, including medical treatment, love, and affection.
