History

West Bengal Govt. approved first Post-Graduate Evening College creating 3 Teaching Posts. College offers courses in M.A. BENGALI and M.Com.

College in established om 15th july 1985 as Charuchandra Evening College. It was after 23 years that it bifurcated from its parent body and aquired its present name.

With the passege of time and change of socio-economic culture, the entire scenario of education has undergone a sea change. In 2013 the college introduced M.A in Bengali and M.Com in Accounting and Finance as regular courses in the evening shift, affiliated to the University as Self-financed Courses. The Govt. Body headed by Javad Ahmed Khan is trying to develop human resources with innovative excellence and creative administration.
